Yes, I just seem to be working all the time nowadays. I don't mind working hard and doing my job, but I do object to having to spend 12 hours a day doing it. Teaching English is fine, but because I have to teach IELTS, observe other teachers, be available for cover, test new students, argue with management over pointless crap, fill in lots of pointless paperwork etc etc it gets tiring and boring very quickly. The problem is, because I have been doing this for a while it's really hard to be able to find a different type of job.
It just depresses me that this is what I'll be doing forever. I m pretty sure it isnt. I m going to start searching for online courses that I can study once I finish here. I have had enough of it, and do not want to be teaching kids or whatever for the rest of my life.
I observed one of my colleagues today (Jason) and he was actually very good.
