Had to be in early today as I had to attend a YL (Young Learner) training session. As you may or may not know I have never taught kids before or YL's to use correct teaching parlance, and in total honesty I have no wish to teach them anytime soon. I find children annoying, irritating and imagine it takes a ridiculous amount of effort to teach them anything. In any case....
The YL session was to help us think of more ways to incorporate it into the sylabus here and I was just thinking 'great it'll mean more work for the same money, and even less time to do any activity you might want to do outside of work'.
Maybe I shouldn't be thinking like that, but I have no idea how to teach kids. because of the YL session I was unable to observe my colleague Jess teach her class. That's about all.
