I had a usual day at work. My IELTS class has turned into a bit of a disaster. Basically half of the students aren't happy with what I m doing and many have decided to migrate to my colleague's class. I m sure his classes are much better, but I just find it annoying. In all my years of teaching it has never happened before.
The evening was good though. Chris, Emily and I went with Raed to this Shisha type restaurant. Shisha is basically a waterpipe thing that people smoke for fun. It's not really what I like, but the food was lovely. Raed was a very generous host and was quite funny as well. He has all sorts of stories. Like the one where he wasn't allowed on the New York metro because he was an arab. Very strange.
Got back quite late. I m not a big fan of going out either on a work night as I don't get a chance to change my clothes or anything.
