I moved today from the Hotel to my apartment, and I managed to sort out my internet connection as well. It's not the best connection in the world. I basically have to rely on one of those dongle things. They are a bit expensive to be honest, but you can't get proper internet installed until you havea resident visa. I think this fact is correct.
Chris (a colleague) helped me move today. He picked up a rental car because he has someone staying with him at the moment, and he very kindly helped move all my bags to my new place. The new place is small, but modern and doesn't have any curtains on the windows. Also, in typical BC style the furniture had been delivered, but needed putting together, and the oven and fridge hadn't arrived.
Quite a productive day all in all.
